So reports from users received hoax related news, Facebook will send it the news reports to the organization. If false, the news story identified will have a sign and a link to the article with the correct explanation. The disputed article would appear less in the News Feed.
This news could still be handed out, but users will see a warning sign that that article has been debated his righteousness when users share it. When an article is tagged, the article was not advertising and can be promoted.
3. Share with correct information
The Facebook party found that if reading an article encouraging people to share the news significantly, perhaps this is a sign that the article has misled the people in some ways.
"We are in the middle of doing a test to combine these signals into the device, especially for articles that are very different and that tends to be shared over a bit," said Mosseri (VP News Feed on Facebook).
